Introducing the ROAM 400 SOLAS

As superyacht regulations tighten, balancing safety compliance with efficient use of onboard space has never been more critical. Enter the ROAM 400 SOLAS—a compact rescue tender from ROAM Boats, created in partnership with Vanguard.

At just four metres, the ROAM 400 SOLAS is a space-saving alternative to the popular Vanguard 4.5-metre model, making it ideal for yachts with limited garage capacity. Despite its reduced size, it delivers serious functionality.

Powered by a 15-25hp SOLAS-rated outboard engine, it’s built for rapid man-overboard rescues, with seamless life-raft coordination and dependable performance in emergencies.

Its utility extends beyond rescue missions, doubling as a workhorse for daily tasks such as equipment transfers and yacht maintenance. Thoughtful design elements include a striking superyacht-white finish, teak decking, and customisable features like bench seating, engine colour, and Seadek flooring—allowing for a tailored look in harmony with the mothership. An optional deck package includes chocks and a trolley for simplified storage and handling.
